Hear From The Candidate
Champion For The Youth
In 2009, Nathan was looking for a meaningful summer activity for his kids that challenged them physically and mentally. He started listing elements of the ideal program, but the lack of locally available options urged him to create Wiz Kids Sports Camps: an academic and sports enrichment program that has successfully mentored, trained and educated thousands of youth for the past decade.

David Kelly – Golden State Warriors (Chief Legal Officer, Business and Basketball)
For over 30 years I have known Nate to be a person of extremely high character and a great and trusted friend. I am certain he will be a terrific addition to the school board of my beloved alma mater. His demonstrated leadership in creating environments where young people can thrive and excel is just one of many reasons why he would be an instant and invaluable asset to the H-F School District.
Christina Jackson – HF Park District Board Commissioner
Nate is one of those rare finds who strikes a balance between being a powerful, visionary leader and an effective, dedicated person willing to work hard to accomplish an end goal. Nate has the gift of creating a thing, of visualizing the ultimate outcome, and the patience, hard work and skills to accomplish the end goal. He consistently demonstrates a genuine love for the HF community and a desire to ensure that young people have the tools and preparation they need to positively affect change in the world.
Phil Strong – Co-Founder (Phil & Nate Productions)
Nathan’s leadership style is simple and pragmatic – he listens intently, measures his responses, and sets forth action plans promptly. This style combined with his “can do” approach to life is especially beneficial when it involves the young people that he so passionately works to support.
